Scholarship Program

The Philippine Business Council of Dubai and Northern Emirates (PBC - DNE) have partnered with Skyline University College (SUC) in Sharjah to commence the Scholarship Program which aims to grant scholarships worth AED 1,000,000 for Undergraduate and Graduate on specific courses offered by SUC. The program aims to promote quality and affordable education that will benefit PBC - DNE’s registered members, your children, your employees and employees’ children.

Scholarship Onboarding Guidelines

Types of Applicant:

  1. Member – Registered member of PBC-DNE; and,
  2. Non-Member – Children, employee and children of the employee of the Registered Member.

Note: It is imperative that at the time of submission of the application, the membership must be active. The benefit is only for valid member/s of the Council.

Requirements for Member/s:

  1. Duly filled application form;
  2. Passport copy;
  3. Emirates ID copy;
  4. School transcript of records;
  5. Trade License copy;
  6. Recommendation letter signed by the PBC-DNE Chairman; and,
  7. Formal endorsement ( via email addressed to SUC).

Requirements for Non-Member/s:

  1. Duly filled application form;
  2. Passport copy;
  3. Emirates ID copy;
  4. Passport copy of the Member;
  5. Emirates ID copy of the Member;
  6. School transcript of records;
  7. Trade License copy;
  8. Recommendation letter signed by the Member;
  9. Recommendation letter signed by the PBC-DNE Chairman; and,
  10. Formal endorsement ( via email addressed to SUC).



Procedure

  1. Submission - The applicant submits a filled and signed application form via email addressed to the Chairman copying the Vice Chairman, Secretary General, Director for Education and Director for Membership.

  2. Interview - A virtual interview will be set between the applicant and the Board of Directors of PBC-DNE.

  3. Evaluation and Confirmation – Upon completion of the evaluation and after unanimous confirmation by the Board , the Director for Education will coordinate with the applicant on the remaining requirements. A file will be created for the applicant and once fully compliant, the Director for Education will apprise the Chairman to proceed with the endorsement.

  4. Formal Endorsement – The Chairman will send a formal endorsement via email to SUC.

  5. Review and Qualification by SUC -  The final process will be the independent review and merit qualification by SUC. Once completed, SUC will notify PBC-DNE and Director for Education will inform the applicant on the result and update the file. If approved, the applicant may directly coordinate with SUC on the enrollment process.
